The best thing written about Minneapolis ever

July 30, 2008 · Leave a Comment

A blog, Always Double Back, has a feature called Squirrel Wednesday. Today, they feature Joseph Scrimshaw’s “An Inconvenient Squirrel” and write this:

I’ve never been to Minneapolis, but I swear, every time I hear or read something about that place, I love it a little more. People there seem so weird and creative…

LOVE IT.

Catfight! and Fringe boy done good

July 21, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Here’s your news and blog round up for Monday:

  • The political blog Dump Michele Bachmann (three guesses how that one leans) is talking about John Ervin’s Catfight!
  • Chaska Herald says: He’s got ‘Curb Appeal’, which is a nice little feature story about Sasha Andreev, an actor who was in “10 Speed Revolution” a few years ago… and is now a fancy schmancy presenter on HGTV
  • …and, as an added bonus, the Kansas City Star has an interview with Cheryl Kimmi, the Fringe coördinator down there. It has nothing to do with our Fringe, but it’s still an interesting read. Also: Good luck with your Fringe, KC!
